Who is R.A.B.?
After reading the sixth installment of the Harry Potter Series, entitled Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, we are left with a fake Horcrux and a riddle inside...

"To the Dark Lord I know I will be dead long before you read this but I want you to know that it was I who discovered your secret. I have stolen the real Horcrux and intend to destroy it as soon as I can. I face death in the hope that when you meet your match, you will be mortal once more. R. A. B."

So, who the hell is R.A.B? I myself couldn't sleep just thinking about it. Then an idea hit me. Only one person would fit perfectly with these initials. Regulus Black, Sirius' Death Eater of a younger brother. Of course, it wasn't clear said that Regulus had a second name, or if their mother had a surname starting with the letter A. I searched the net trying to find out if other people had the same idea as me. As it turns out, almost all of the search results say that Regulus Black is, indeed, their top suspect. Here's one of the theories I found:

Is R.A.B. Regulus Black, Sirius's younger brother? Why?

1. His note addresses the Dark Lord a term used by Death Eater's. Regulus was a Death Eater who turned on Voldemort and was eventually destroyed by him or his followers.
2. The Death Eaters knew about the Horcruxes as Voldemort said in the graveyard in GOF to his Death Eaters:
"And I asked myself, but how could they have believed I would not rise again? They, who knew the steps I took, long ago, to guard myself against mortal death?"
3. Regulus's middle name could be Alphard - named after his uncle. Other wizard characters are named after same gender family names like Harry James Potter and Tom Marvolo Riddle.
4. A locket that nobody could open was found at 12 Grimmauld Place and was discarded. It is thought either Kreacher took it with other items (Horcruxes) or perhaps Mundungus stole it.
5. Regulus removed the Horcrux with Kreacher who being an elf with limited magical powers was able to join Regulus in the one-wizard boat, but two people were required to drink the poison liquid. Regulus wrote "I" have stolen the real Horcrux, because he didn't respect his accomplice as an elf enough to be credit him.
6. Voldemort in Book 4 says of his death eaters.
"There are 6 missing death eaters, 3 are dead, one too cowardly to return - he will pay (Karkorff?), one who has left me - he will be killed (Regulus) one who remains my faithful servant - he will re-enter my service (Snape?)."
7. The writer of the clue had to be dead given the way the message was written. Regulus was meant to have died the same year as HP's parents died, which was 16 years before the message was read. Yet, the message suggests the writer was aware of the prophecy that Voldemort would meet his match. Since Harry could command Kreacher, there were no living relatives of Sirius (such as Regulus) who could inherit #12 Grimmauld Place.
8. Why did Harry inherit #12 Grimmauld Place and Kreacher if they weren't going to feature in the final book?

And, for a more reliable source, here is something from Wikipedia:

In Chapter 28 of Half-Blood Prince, the following note was found in a locket recovered by Albus Dumbledore and Harry Potter:

To the Dark Lord I know I will be dead long before you read this but I want you to know that it was I who discovered your secret. I have stolen the real Horcrux and intend to destroy it as soon as I can. I face death in the hope that when you meet your matchyou will be mortal once more. R.A.B.

The locket was recovered in the belief that it was one of Lord Voldemort's Horcruxes. Harry, along with Hermione and Ron, start to investigate who might have had the initials R.A.B. Hermione searches the books in the school library for the names of any wizards with the initials, and finds many wizards and witches with the initials, including Rosalind Antigone Bungs and Rupert "Axebanger" Brookstanton, but neither Bungs nor Brookstanton seemed to have any connection with Voldemort and therefore weren't very likely candidates to be the writer of the note.
There are no candidates specifically mentioned in the books having exactly R.A.B. as initials, apart from those identified by Hermione. However, there are several characters with surnames beginning with "B" and with unknown given or middle names, or whose initials might match "R.A.B." if they preferred to use their middle name as if it were their given name. There could also be characters who changed their surname, as by marriage.

J. K. Rowling has stated in interviews that the sixth book of the Harry Potter series is to a large degree the first part of a two part story. She has also stated that no new major characters will be introduced in the final book. Readers have drawn the conclusion that the mysterious R.A.B. must represent a person or persons already known in the existing books and that it is possible to determine the identity of R.A.B. by careful study. A wide fan-following of the Harry Potter series began speculating almost instantaneously about the identity of R.A.B., since this would likely and markedly affect the plot of the seventh book.

Melissa Anelli from The Leaky Cauldron and Emerson Spartz from Mugglenet were invited by J. K. Rowling to interview her immediately after The Half-Blood Prince was published. [1] Emerson asked Rowling, "What's one question you wished to be asked and what would be the answer to the question?"

She replied, "Um — such a good question. What do I wish I could be asked? Today, just today, July the 16th, I was really hoping someone would ask me about R.A.B., and you did it. Just today, because I think that is — well, I hoped that people would."

Melissa asked, "Is there more we should ask about him?" Rowling replied, "There are things you will deduce on further reading, I think — well you two definitely will, for sure — that, yeah, I was really hoping that R.A.B. would come out." As is Rowling's normal policy in such interviews, this did not confirm or deny that R.A.B. had been identified.

The character who has the greatest support as a candidate to be R.A.B. is Regulus Black, the younger brother of Sirius Black, who has been mentioned in passing but has not had any plot significance yet. Previously mentioned in the interview quoted above, Anelli suggested to Rowling that R.A.B. could stand for Regulus A. Black. The following conversation ensued:

Rowling: "Well, I think that would be, um, a fine guess.".
Melissa: "Forgive me if I'm remembering incorrectly, but was Regulus the one who was murdered by Voldemort?"
Rowling: "Well Sirius said he wouldn't have been because he wasn't important enough, remember?"
Melissa: "But that doesn’t have to be true, if [R.A.B.] is writing Voldemort a personal note."
Rowling: "That doesn't necessarily show that Voldemort killed him, personally, but Sirius himself suspected that Regulus got in a little too deep. Like Draco. He was attracted to it, but the reality of what it meant was way too much to handle."

Many believe these comments to be indirect confirmation that R.A.B. is Regulus Black.
Rowling had already been asked about Regulus prior to the publication of The Half-Blood Prince, during World Book Day online chat, March 4, 2004. Rowling answering the question: "Will we be hearing anything from Sirius Black's brother, Regulus, in future books?" said: "Well, he's dead, so he's pretty quiet these days."

Regulus is mentioned three times in The Half-Blood Prince, by Albus Dumbledore, by Horace Slughorn, and then by Remus Lupin, early in the book. In comparison, his brother Sirius was mentioned by Hagrid in the opening chapter of the first book, with no further mention until The Prisoner of Azkaban, where he was the title character alongside Harry.

Regulus was a Death Eater who tried to disassociate himself from Voldemort. He was killed on Voldemort's orders (Sirius notes that Regulus was too unimportant to warrant Voldemort doing this himself). The note left by R.A.B. addresses Voldemort as The Dark Lord, and Death Eaters are one of the only groups who customarily refer to him thus.

Regulus' middle initial is unknown (it does not appear on the family tree tapestry at 12 Grimmauld Place, the Black family home and headquarters of The Order of the Phoenix). However it is possible he may have been given the middle name Alphard (after his uncle), or Arcturus (after his grandfather), as those names do appear on the Black Family Tree. The family tree was derived from a hand-drawn sketch of the tree made by J.K. Rowling herself, and from information extracted from the novels and various interviews.

The object which had replaced the real Horcrux was a locket. Dumbledore believed the real Horcrux to also be a locket, once the property of Salazar Slytherin. Chapter Six of The Order of the Phoenix mentions a heavy, unopenable locket in a glass case at number 12 Grimmauld Place. The locket was amongst property discarded by Sirius Black as he undertook a total cleaning of the house. There was no mention of it having a Slytherin seal, which the real Slytherin locket is known to have. The locket may have been taken either by the house elf Kreacher, who was trying to save Black family artifacts from the house cleaning, or stolen by Mundungus Fletcher, who was keen to exploit the financial potential of any neglected goods. Mundungus is later spotted with a suitcase full of possessions taken from the house, and in the company of the barman from the Hog's Head. J. K. Rowling confirmed the barman is Dumbledore's brother Aberforth. Aberforth was seen drawing his cloak about his throat, as if concealing something, as he walked away from the scene. It is possible that he now has the locket. Mundungus was later arrested and taken to Azkaban prison.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
I'm wondering when the movie's coming out. I think they're having a hard time producing the movie though. The fifth installment of the Harry Potter series, The Order of the Phoenix, is... well, boring. It took me almost one and a half weeks to finish reading that book when it only took me two whole days to read the sixth book, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince.

I dunno what Rowling's up to, but a lot of redundancies appeared in the fifth book. Harry was always angry, which wmade him look like a fuming baboon most of the time. He didn't take Dumbledore's words seriously, and he didn't study Occlumency with full concentration, which could've been the most crucial part of his battle with Lord Voldemort and the Death Eaters, and which could've prevented him from breaking into the Department of Mysteries and Sirius wouldn't have died trying to fight off Bellatrix Lestrange.

Although it was boring, some parts were OK. Apart from the time Ron poked his frog in the eye during Charms class, the part about Professor Umbridge being ordered around by other professors was very funny. She was called room to room to get rid of the fireworks the Weasley twins set up for her, although Harry and his friends were quite sure that the other Professors were quite able to get rid of the fireworks themselves with a wave of a wand.

Professor Umbridge, is a spy from the Ministry of Magic. She was appointed as new teacher for Defense Against the Dark Arts by the ministry itself when Dumbledore failed to find a suitable teacher in time. She of course, is in school to spy on Dumbledore and make Harry's life a living hell. On special occassions, she made Harry write lines using his own blood as ink. Justice served it's purpose in the end, when Harry and Hermione lured her into the Dark Forest where the centaurs grabbed her and took her to the heart of the forest where nobody knew whet happened to her. Dumbledore rescued her, and she's been afraid of horses ever since. She jumped everytime Ron made a clicking noise with his tongue.

Another very memorable part was a part about the Dumbledore's Army (or the D.A. as they called it so no one would suspect anything, especially Umbridge). This was an organization organized by Hermione and led by Harry. As Umbridge only made them read books and taught them no magic during their Defense Against the Dark Arts class, they agreed to make private lessons with Harry Potter as teacher. Here, Harry taught them spells that they could use not only in their upcoming O.W.L.s, but also to protect themselves just in case Death Eaters would decide to take a visit somewhere near them.

Here is the D.A. meeting for the first time in Hog's Head, a bar in Hogsmeade. That in the middle of course, is Cho Chang, Harry's love interest. On one of their meetings, Cho Chang stayed behind and cornered Harry under a mistletoe and kissed him. They fell apart, however, aside from the fact that Cho's best friend Marietta sold them out to Umbridge, Harry found Cho's habit of breaking down in tears and talking about nothing but Cedric's death, quite annoying. Active members include Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ronald Weasely, Ginny Weasely, Neville Longbottom, and Luna Lovegood.

The Inquisitorial Squad, on the other hand, is the counterpart of Dumbledore's army. This organization is made by Umbridge and led by who else but Draco Malfoy.

The members, of course, are no other than Draco Malfoy, Crabb, Goyle, And Pansy Parkinson (although I thought Pansy would be looking more like a pig, as the book describes her, than this girl which looks a lot like Emma Watson with a wig).

The highlight of the story, is the battle of the D.A. members and the Order of the Phoenix agaist the Death Eaters. Sirius battled with his Death Eater cousin, Bellatrix Lestrange, and was hit by Avada Kedavra squarely on the chest and caused him his death. Bellatrix, was unable to get the prophecy from Harry though, and Voldemort was forced to appear before them. Dumbledore appeared in time and fought Voldemort. Voldemort took possession of Harry's body, but he was cast out immediately by Harry's "love" (how tacky can you get Harry?). And this is where the story was left off.

The book is as thick as it is boring, well, that is all I can say about it. So, ta-ta for now.

why this guy says he like girls
well, here's a blog from one of my "friends" in friendster. you might find it a bit naive, it's almost as if some girl's been slipping in some love potion in his drink.

WELL here's a few reasons why guys like girls...

1. They will always smell good even if its just shampoo
(reminder, not all girls smell nice. and i suppose you wouldn't like to get it on with a girl who smells like fish paste or worse - sinigang sa bayabas... you know what i mean ~.^)

2. The way their heads always find the right spot on our shoulder

3. How cute they look when they sleep

4. the ease in which they fit into our arms

5. the way they kiss you and all of a sudden everything is right in the world

6. How cute they are when they eat

7. The way they take hours to get dressed but in the end makes it all worth while

8. because they are always warm even when its minus 30 out side

9. the way they look good no matter what they wear

10. the way they fish for compliments even though you both know that you think she's the most beautiful thing on this earth

11. How cute they are when they argue

12. the way her hand always finds yours

13. the way they smile

14. the way you feel when you see their name on the call ID after you just had a big fight

15. The way she says "lets not fight anymore" even though you know that an hour later you will be arguing about something

16. the way they kiss when you do something nice for them

17. The way they kiss you when you say "I love you'

18. Actually ... its just the way they kiss you...

19. the way they fall into your arms when they cry

20. then the way they apologize for crying over something that silly

21. The way they hit you and expect it to hurt

22. Then the way they apologize when it does hurt . (even though we don't admit it)!

23. the way they say "I miss you"

24. the way you miss them

25. the way their tears make you want to change the world so that it doesn't hurt her anymore.. ...Yet regardless if you love them, hate them, wish they would die or know that you would die without them ... it matters not. Because once in your life, whatever they were to the world they become everything to you. When you look them in the eyes, traveling to the depths of their souls and you say a million things without trace of a sound, you know that your own life is inevitable consumed within the rhythmic beatings of her very heart. We love them for a million reasons, No paper would do it justice. It is a thing not of the mind but of theheart.

Female Metamorphosis
Just saw my best friend's oh-so-seductive pic... Just noticed how time goes by so fast and I haven't even noticed. My best friend's gone from wierd... to wierder... to even wierder... and now she's a very beautiful lady. (dunno if she's still wierd though... ^__^)

It makes me wonder... What happened to me? Sometimes I'd like to think, being 19 and a non-virgin, I'm a lot matured and experienced than my other friends. A lot of times a catch myself wondering whether I'm a sex goddess trapped in a body of a clown, or a clown trying to look seductive (and failing, miserably...)? I dunno... It seems like it's all a wild blur. I don't even know what makes me think of these things.

Well, as I've always said... Everything I do is worth something. Even something as losing your virginity at the age of 18. I'm not proud of it or anything, but I'm not ashamed of it either. There's nothing to regret anyway. What's the point of having regrets about the things yo chose to do? Yeah, I admit. I am wat I chose to be. But there is a deep and unbearable reason behind that decision. And I'm not going to tell you... :P

But losing your virginity is not something I would advise other girls. Cherish what you have. Make sure yo don't regret anything you'd be planning to do. Me and my bestfriend? Well, I understand her. It's kinda cool actually. We get to do what we want without any worries. Hahaha... But you have to be careful about everything you do, you know. Accidents can happen to anyone at anytime. Get my drift? But I'm not going to spend my 1 hour of precious rented internet time giving out tips and sex education. I'm not here to talk about it. Anyway, it would be waste of time talking about such things to a public who's already heard it from... duh, EVERYWHERE!!

You see, guys... losing your virginity is not a measure of maturity. The real measure of maturity is how you handle your problems gracefully. It's the courage to make a decision with willingness to accept the consequences, whatever they may be. It's doing something without any regrets. So... I won't tell you guys not to do anything stupid; as we all well know, experience and errors are our best teachers. Te thing is... be ready for the aftermath.

As for my best friend, SHY-RA!! You're cool. Hope to hear from you soon. (You know wat stuff I wanna hear. XD)

Basahan
it's so unfair to be treated like this. it's not nice when you expect someoen to tell you everything, and yet, he doesn't even bother.

last night, he texted me. and it took me a while to tell him about my problem. and when i did, he just said "duh" and took off with a poor excuse. he left me hanging there, mouth open. i didn't know what to do. i wanted to cry and wail right then and there, but i gathered myself and fought it back, thinking "i'm much stronger than this."

but i'm not. i'm just an ordinary person. even swords break if the blacksmith hammers it too much. before he "vanished" last night, he told me he would meet me via yahoo messenger today, after lunch. i waited for his text until 5pm. no Jayson texted me, so i decided to check my messenger for any offline messages he might have left me.

well, i didn't find anything there, not even a whiff of his scent. but i know he already visited his messenger because i check his too. and my previous offline messages weren't there. my god, i feel like such a fool.

i left him another set of offline messages. it's not fair being treated like a television where he would look at me if he likes the show and then turn me off if he doesn't. he made me wait and he didn't even bother telling me "hey, i just checked my messenger, and i don't want to talk to you because it's saturday." or whatever excuse he may had tought of just so i would know, and hadn't waited like a stupid idiot, for a message that would come.

this isn't fair. i don't think i should be treated like this.
