Milenyo in the University of the Philippines

On my way to school, I was shocked to see many of the big acacia trees uprooted and their branches broken off. Leaves and branches were scatterd on the streets, you'd think it was impossible for vehicles to pass through. Acad oval was still car-free, except for the heavy machinery which were pulling the broken branches hanging from trees and power cables. In some buildings, windows were broken. Electric posts were broken in half, and power cables were hanging low. The whole scene looked like a disaster! It was like some sort of scene from a war movie.

Despite the gloomy atmosphere, we still managed to joke about it. At Vinson's Hall, you'd see Andres Bonifacio holding his "bolo", and almost all the trees around him were either uprooted or snapped. A friend said "Haha, Andres cut those trees down!"

We walked around the school and we noticed some people cutting the broken down trees. They were gathering firewood. Literally.

I'm glad the stores now have their sturdy "kiosks" and are not in their wooden stands anymore. If they had been, they would've been blown away to Cubao by now.
Haha.

*Yawn* can't write anymore. Brain's lagging. That's all for now. *Yawn*

I like drawing, but I've never really been into comic strips. Here's the very first comic strip I've ever published. Haha, it's about a friend of mine who cut off his precious hair just because he heard from a friend that the girl he likes so much didn't like him back.
